About the Course
About the Course
Artificial intelligence is transforming education, but successful implementation requires more than learning how to use AI tools. Educators must also develop the knowledge, confidence, and leadership capacity to integrate AI thoughtfully, ethically, and effectively into teaching and learning.
This graduate course prepares educators to understand the foundations of artificial intelligence, evaluate its instructional applications, examine ethical and legal considerations, redesign teaching and assessment practices, and lead organizational readiness for AI implementation. Through scholarly inquiry, practical application, and reflective practice, students will develop the skills needed to make informed decisions about AI in educational settings while fostering responsible innovation and meaningful learning.
Throughout the course, students will build a semester-long project that demonstrates their ability to plan for the responsible implementation of artificial intelligence within an educational organization.
