Week 9 – Artificial Intelligence and In-Class Learning Activities

Weekly Overview

Artificial intelligence is transforming what happens inside the classroom. Rather than replacing active learning, AI can enhance collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving when used intentionally. This week examines strategies for integrating AI into classroom activities while maintaining meaningful student engagement and instructor facilitation. Students will evaluate how their selected educational organization can support educators in designing effective AI-enhanced learning experiences.

Building upon your work from the previous weeks, prepare a 3–4-page section describing how your selected educational organization can integrate artificial intelligence into classroom instruction.

Your analysis should address the following:

• Identify classroom activities that could be enhanced through the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

• Explain how AI can support collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and student engagement.

• Discuss the evolving role of the educator when AI is incorporated into classroom instruction.

• Recommend instructional practices that encourage meaningful human interaction while leveraging AI effectively.

• Explain how these recommendations support your organization's overall AI implementation strategy.

This assignment becomes the ninth section of your semester-long Organizational AI Implementation Plan.
