Week 5 – Designing Learning Experiences with Artificial Intelligence

Weekly Overview

Artificial intelligence has the potential to transform how learning experiences are designed and delivered, particularly in online and hybrid environments. This week explores how educational organizations can intentionally integrate AI into instructional design while maintaining learner engagement, accessibility, academic integrity, and sound pedagogical practice. Students will evaluate how AI can enhance teaching without replacing the essential role of educators.

Designing AI-Enhanced Learning Experiences

Building upon your work from the previous weeks, prepare a 3–4 page analysis evaluating how your selected educational organization can integrate artificial intelligence into teaching and learning.

Your analysis should address the following:

Describe the organization's current instructional delivery model (face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended).

Identify opportunities for AI to enhance teaching, learning, accessibility, and student engagement.

Evaluate potential challenges associated with AI implementation, including educator preparedness, equity, and academic integrity.

Recommend instructional design strategies that support meaningful AI integration while maintaining sound pedagogical practice.

Explain how these recommendations align with the organization's mission and educational goals.

This assignment becomes the fifth section of your semester-long Organizational AI Implementation Plan.
